Let’s talk about something that nobody else is with this current quarterback class. Intangibles.
When I coached pee-wee football, we had a quarterback on the team, Marquis. He was a great athlete and possessed incredible arm strength but was missing “it.” There was another player on the team, Kyle who was a significantly worse athlete and lacked arm strength but was a great, hardworking kid. I went with Kyle.
While we started off the year 0-5, we won two of the last three games in thrilling fashion and finished 2-6. If we had started Mar’quis we could have lost the locker room and went 0-8.
With this all being said. Here’s how I view the 2024 QB Draft Class:
